The Bar

Dublin dark, Panama loud

Push the door and the city drops away. Low light, dark wood, a stout poured in two and left to settle. The kind of pub Dublin exports and Panama keeps open later.

Out front on Vía Argentina the tables spill onto the sidewalk, right across from Parque Andrés Bello. Warm night, cold pint, the whole barrio walking past. Best seat in the city and it's free.
